First Chung Hua Cup International Tai Chi Tournament

Chung Hua, Republic of China

This tournament was the last international championship recognized by most nations as a true world championship. The U.S. team demonstrated the quality of American Tai Chi by finishing a close second to Taiwan.

The tape includes interviews, training, and bouts of Robert Alexander, Martin Ferriera and Elaine Imrie, of the U. S., who won their divisions competing against national teams from 17 nations .
