Gringo martial artists pilgrimage to the Republic of China and come back with more than they bargained for.

A group of martial arts teachers from California travel to Taiwan and discover that there is more to martial play than "slam-bang" as they are introduced to traditional 'internal' practices offered in a modern format. They see that this traditional teaching is still available to the people of all ages as it is so instilled in cultural memory despite the island's rush into the technological era. It is also interesting the degree that this provides a cultural center for the Taiwanese majority.
